The whole house carbon refill packs contain both carbon and base media’s, specific for the media replacement of our 6″, 7″, 8″ & 9″ whole house carbon filters.
The carbon media is a granulated activated carbon which sits inside the high flow tank and treats all the water entering the house. The base media is a base metal that is included in the pack and should be replaced when refilling the carbon tank. We recommend the carbon media be replaced annually.
Included with the replacement pack is replacement instructions.
