KDF-55 Media: Specially formulated to reduce chlorine and remove water-soluble heavy metals such as lead, mercury, and nickel. Its redox properties also inhibit the growth of bacteria and algae, extending media life and improving filtration performance.
Granular Activated Carbon (GAC): Improves taste and odour by adsorbing chlorine, chemical contaminants, and organic compounds.
Tested to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 – Aesthetic Effects, the OCK250 demonstrates a chlorine reduction rate greater than 90% under controlled test conditions. With a capacity of 1,500 gallons (≈ 5,700 litres), this cartridge offers strong performance in low-flow applications requiring reliable chlorine reduction.
